Charlene K. LaMothe, age 68 of Rapid City died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at her home. Charlene was born May 12, 1944 in Lansing, MI to Clarence and Charlotte (Galloup) Graham. She married Howard LaMothe in Lansing in October of 1970, and has been a resident of Rapid City since 1996. Charlene was a member of the Torch Lake Assembly of God Church of Rapid City, and enjoyed collectables, playing cards, and especially spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children Loretta K. (Marvin) Switzer of Kalkaska, and Karen L. (Todd) Shaffer of Rapid City. Also surviving are grandchildren Kelli, Keagen, Sayier, Cordell and Savannah, and brothers Gary Graham of Bath, Irwin (Karen) Graham of Williamsburg, Rick Graham of Holland, and Pete Graham of Hastings. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Howard in 1993. A memorial gathering will be held at Charlene's home on Thursday, August 9th at 2:00 PM. Pastor Richard VanBeek will be officiating. The family would appreciate memorial contributions payable to Wolfe-Oneill Funeral Home to help with her burial expenses.
